cc-tapis, an Italian company based in Milan, creates contemporary hand-knotted rugs. The story began over 20 years ago when Nelcya Chamszadeh and Fabrizio Cantoni, inspired by Nepal's rich rug-making tradition, established their company there. In 2011, they moved the design center to Milan, where art director and partner Daniele Lora leads a team that pushes boundaries with fresh interpretations of time-honored techniques.
