UNDERSTATED LUXURY

Desiring to achieve the luxury much enjoyed during hotel stays, we created a haven for our client to escape to with this beautifully designed bedroom suite.
To achieve this, amidst the realities of daily life, it was essential that our design combined ambiance and aesthetics with carefully considered functionality to ensure organisation would be a breeze to maintain.
An existing Hulsta bed frame offered comfort with an adjustable head rest and this was included in the development of our interior design.
To create the sleep area, we designed modular low bedside units, providing flexible storage with elements; open, closed and of various widths. Forming a niche around the bed, we could include semi-recessed tall storage with minimum footprint.
A TV niche opposite creates balance and with use of floating storage and smoke grey mirror, we designed a composition to discreetly house the TV.
Materials were carefully selected to build layers of texture and depth to achieve the comfort and luxury desired.
Our bespoke Italian bedroom furniture was specified in a matt lacquer and smoke grey mirror finish, a Tektura classic weave wall covering provides texture and depth of colour and co-ordinates with the comfortable upholstered chair. Round mirrors, made to our specification achieve the perfect scale.
The SilentGliss wave system is a perfect example of luxury; ensuring the finest quality curtain fabric folds in a perfect repeat and offering ease of use with a remote control quiet, gliding operation.
Considered lighting design contributes drama and interest. We used a variety of positions and fixtures including; the elegant Flos IC Lights, designed by Michael Anastassiades and Enna wall lights by Astro Lighting.
The suite includes an adjoining dressing area, conveniently close yet out of sight of the sleep and relaxation zone. Our tall, elegant wardrobe system clads the walls, providing an abundance of storage.
The beauty of materials and craftsmanship of the Hans J Wegner wishbone chair by Carl Hansen is the perfect partner to the well illuminated dressing area. Upholstered window seating on both sides offers further comfort, colour and convenient storage.
