A kitchen like no other

The brief for this project was quite unique. Our client wanted to achieve a visually stunning, simple space that would serve as the perfect backdrop to their collection of art. The kitchen should be able to accommodate regular social gatherings, yet still feel like home. Our client was keen to include bulthaup b2 which they already enjoy using in their European home.
The freestanding b2 design classics were created in collaboration with renowned Austrian design house EOOS. To complement these, we utilised bulthaup b3 units to form the functional wall element, housing appliances, and a bulthaup stainless-steel sink which is fabricated into the slim 10mm thick laminated work surface. With unit fronts and work surface both in bulthaup b3 graphite, we created a monoblock-like appearance to the furniture. bulthaup b3 is kitchen architecture at its finest, enabling us to create a unique, yet functional environment.
Selecting the b2 cabinet and workbench, pieces of art in their own right, we created a bespoke interior design that compliments the architecture of the property. The stainless-steel workbench encourages freedom of movement while the walnut veneer tool cabinet, which can be closed when not in use, ensures our client has their culinary workshop at their fingertips.
The appliance specification includes Siemens appliances and the essential Quooker boiling water tap, for time-saving convenience. The addition of the revolutionary BORA cooktop with integrated extractor allowed us to incorporate highly effective ventilation within the open b2 workbench, quite a feat!
Our client’s choice of a beautiful oak herringbone floor perfectly suited both the Georgian architecture and the contemporary interior design.
